With it's flexible design and powerful features GameCP was designed from the ground up to help today's Game Service Provider save time and money, while allowing end users complete control over their servers.
The CS: GO's gameplay is comparable to the previous games in Counter-Strike series as it is a multiplayer first-person shooter game that is objective-based. Players engage themselves as any of these two teams; the Terrorists and the Counter-Terrorists. Both teams have different objectives: the Terrorists' are to plant the bomb for explosion or to protect the hostages, while the Counter-Terrorists' are to prevent the bomb from being planted or exploding and to set free the prisoners. At the commencement of every round, the players have the chance to purchase equipment and weapons with the money that is awarded to them based on their feat in the past round. Winning rounds gives you more money unlike losing, and the completion of set objectives such as eliminating the enemies result in more money. Harmful actions, such as the killing of teammates, will lead to a penalty.
CS: GO supports matchmaking for every online game modes and is provided via the Steam software, and since it is a Valve game, it operates on the Valve Anti-Cheat as a means of preventing hackers. During the competition, players are implored to act more tactically in CS: GO than in other games as they lack the ability to respawn. While playing the competitive mode, each player is ranked based on their acquired skills and will be matched with and against players that exhibit almost the same level of competence. Prime Matchmaking is also available to players with a verified account (those with a registered phone number). This verification was introduced to prevent lawful players from playing with hackers, The Global Offensive's PC Version supports private dedicated servers that are privately dedicated, and the player could connect through the community server's menu in-game. These servers may be modified to an extent that the base-game looks different from subsequently modified ones. Several community-made mods are also available for CS: GO; one of the frequently encountered mods is the one that permits players to complete obstacle courses which require advanced jumping and strafing techniques.
There are six different game modes in CS: GO. These consist of Casual, Competitive, Demolition, Arms Race, Weapons, and Deathmatch Course. The casual mode is a less intense version of the aggressive form (competitive mode), and it has both the collision and team damage inactivated. Competitive mode is the most active mode out of them all, with the players being grouped into a 5vs.5 match that takes about 45 minutes to complete. The Demolition mode is also like the "Gun Game" mod, but in this case, the players can plant and detonate the bomb and can only receive a gun upgrade upon completion of the round provided they killed an enemy. The Arms Race mode is also comparable with the Gun Game's mod. Here, the players get into a race to improve their gun capacities by getting rid of their enemies. The Weapons Course is an offline training mode that is designed to help new players gain knowledge of how to use the essential items like guns and grenades. In the Deathmatch mode, there is no true objective apart from killing the enemies. The action is almost continuous as players can instaspawn after death. It's usually used to learn and practice the functioning of all the guns function.
